About Quadrant-i Startup Launch

During the summer, CREATE-X offers Georgia Tech students, faculty, researchers, and alumni the opportunity to build startups through Startup Launch, a 12-week summer program that gives these founders $5,000 in seed funding and $150,000 in in-kind services. Participants develop ideas or prototypes into viable products while attending sessions on entrepreneurship and networking in our rich entrepreneurial ecosystem. The accelerator culminates in Demo Day, which attracts over 1,500 attendees, and gives these founders a chance to engage with potential investors and customers. 

In addition to this side of the accelerator, CREATE-X, in collaboration with Quadrant-i, offers a special section of Startup Launch for faculty, graduate students, and researchers commercializing research from a Georgia Tech lab. This collaboration has supported Georgia Tech innovators in creating successful startups, such as Sila Nanotechnologies, Guide Therapeutics, Pindrop Security, Stord, Reframe, Wattch, and more. This year, interested individuals may apply to the program until April 11, 2025, for this special section.
