On Thursday, August 25th, CREATE-X will host Demo Day at the historic Fox Theater from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. The event will feature 90+ startups focusing on a range of business areas from highly caffeinated slushies to bioanalytical platform technologies.

The event is free and open to the public.

Demo Day is the culmination of Startup Launch, where Georgia Tech students and faculty members spend the summer bringing their startup to market. Participants attend lectures, keynote speakers, and 1:1/group sessions with industry leaders.

Startup Launch was established through CREATE-X, a Georgia Tech initiative devoted to instilling entrepreneurial confidence in students and empowering them to launch successful startups.

CREATE-X consists of three programmatic elements – LEARN-MAKE-LAUNCH – and Demo Day is a key part of LAUNCH.

The Startup Launch element of the program has launched 300+ startups, with portfolio companies collectively valued at over $1.9 billion.

"Demo Day is a signature Georgia Tech event to showcase its most recent cohort of exceptional founders solving problems that impact us and businesses every day," says CREATE-X Interim Director Rahul Saxena. “Solutions touch nearly every part of society, from farms to supply chains to virtual reality.”

Demo Day will highlight the talent and hard work of students who participated in Startup Launch throughout the summer.
